We had the pleasure of hosting Kutlwano & Katlego Pooe, two young, ambitious & promising matric students with a dream of becoming Social Entrepreneurs.

They spent time on the ground, visiting our beneficiaries, involved in high-level strategy meetings & also in the the creative process of designing a new campaign.

What is the definition of Manhood?

“I think that the entire conversation is wrong. I don’t want anybody to be telling women anything. I don’t want men to be telling me what to wear and how to act, not to drink. And I don’t, honestly, want you to tell me that I needed a gun in order to prevent my rape. In my case, don’t tell me if I’d only had a gun, I wouldn’t have been raped. Don’t put it on me to prevent the rape.”

Children, especially girls, and especially girls in poor, rural areas and urban slums, are often the most marginalized in these processes and in general.

The great nature cinematographer Mike deGruy sadly died in a helicopter crash last week doing wonderful things for others.

Social justice is an underlying principle for peaceful and prosperous coexistence within and among nations.

This is our problem as a nation and if we do not address it ourselves no one will do it for us.
